C24 - Cubase/Nuendo

Channel Strips
EQ Assigns EQ editor for selected channel across channel knobs. Use Channel Bar Scroll buttons to access additional parameters.
Insert Assigns Plug-in Editor for selected channel across channel knobs. Use Channel Bar Scroll buttons to access plug-in parameters.
Send Assigns Sends for selected channel across channel knobs.
Record Arms the assigned audio track of the Channel.
Solo Solos the Channel.
Mute Mutes the Channel.
Auto Cycles through Read/Write Mode on track
Select Sets the Channel to the Select state.
Knob Changes the assigned parameter.
Knob Button
Track Meters Displays Stereo metering for tracks.
Bank Mode
The assignment buttons are used to assign controls to the Knobs.
Pan (Default) Shows pan position in LED Strip. Knob controls pan position.
Send A Assigns Send 1 to knobs. Assigns Send 6 to knobs when F-J is enabled. Use Channel Bar Scroll Left and Right to switch parameters.
Send B Assigns Send 2 to knobs. Assigns Send 7 to knobs when F-J is enabled. Use Channel Bar Scroll Left and Right to switch parameters.
Send C Assigns Send 3 to knobs. Assigns Send 8 to knobs when F-J is enabled. Use Channel Bar Scroll Left and Right to switch parameters.
Send D Assigns Send 4 to knobs. Use Channel Bar Scroll Left and Right to switch parameters.
Send E Assigns Send 5 to knobs. Use Channel Bar Scroll Left and Right to switch parameters.
F-J Toggles between Sends 1-5 and 6-8 for A-E buttons.
Send parameters 1st parameter is Send level.
2nd parameter is bypass for Send assignment.
3rd parameter is Pre/Post.
4th parameter is pan for send.
5th parameter is Send assignment.
6th parameter is Master send bypass for channel.
Input, Output Assign channel parameters to knobs. Use Channel bar scroll Left and Right to cycle through parameters.
Channel Parameters 1st parameter is channel output.
2nd parameter is input monitoring on channel.
3rd parameter is channel input.
4th parameter is pre-gain.
5th parameter is phase invert.
Soft Keys Assigns knob buttons on Channel strips to be soft key buttons.
Flip Flips knobs to faders.
Master Faders Enables Master Fader control on the 24th channel of C24.
Output Meters Displays the Master Meter.
Automation
Write Toggles Write automation for all channels.
Touch Sets Automation to Touch automation for all channels. When in Touch mode, pressing again enables Cross-over automation mode.
Latch Sets Automation to Latch mode for all channels. When in Latch mode, pressing again enables Cross-over automation mode.
Read Toggles Read automation for all channels.
Write To Start Enables Write to Start Automation.
Write To End Enables Write To End Automation.
Write To All Enables Loop Automation.
Auto Suspend Suspends Automation
There is no indication if Automation enables are On/Off
Vol Toggle Enable Volume Automation
Pan Toggle Enable Pan Automation
Mute Toggle Enable Mute Automation
Sends Toggle Enable Sends Automation
EQ Toggle Enable Send Mute Automation
Plugin Toggle Enable Plugin Automation
Transport
Play Starts playhead at current position in Timeline.
Stop Stops playhead at current position in Timeline.
Record Starts Record Mode for playhead
Rewind Move playhead backwards in Timeline.
Fast Forward Moves playhead forward in Timeline.
RTZ Returns playhead to beginning of Timeline.
Shift+RTZ Sends playhead to end of Timeline.
Pre Roll Enables Pre Roll
Post Roll Enables Post Roll
Mark In Sets start point of selection in Timeline.
Mark Out Sets end point of selection in Timeline.
Loop Play/Loop Rec Toggles Loop mode for loop selection in Timeline.
Quick Punch Toggles Punch mode for selection in Timeline.
Counter Displays Counter for current session. Counter mode can be changed in DAW.
Automatic TalkBack This C24 feature is supported. Enable/disable on C24 by pressing Utility button.

Bank Left Banks tracks left/Scrolls 1 track left in Nudge mode
Bank Right Banks tracks right/Scrolls 1 track right in Nudge mode
Nudge Toggles Nudge mode On/Off
There are several different modes available for the cursor keys and wheel.
Scrub Enables Scrub mode for the wheel.
Shuttle Enables Shuttle Mode for the wheel.
Navigate/Nav Enables Marker Mode. Use Wheel or Left/Right cursor keys to navigate between markers. Down cursor key creates marker at playhead.
Zoom Enables Zoom mode for the wheel and cursor keys.
Zoom+Shift Enables Track Zoom for the wheel and cursor keys. Track zoom increases/decreases track height.
Zoom+Option Enables Wave Zoom for the wheel and cursor keys. Wave zoom increases waveform view in region.
Trim Enables Nudge trim mode for the wheel and cursor keys. Use Left/Right cursor keys to change between start/end of region. Use Up/Down cursor keys or wheel to trim.
Soft Keys Button
Soft Keys Enables the knob buttons on the channel strips to become softkeys. Soft Keys can be mapped in the Studio Setups window of Cubase when the C24 is selected.
View Buttons
Focus Toggles Banking mode follow for Bank and Scroll buttons.
When Follow mode is on, Mixer in Cubase moves to match what is shown on Control surface. (Must have track count in Cubase view match control surface layout.)
V-Window Mode
With the V-Window feature, users can instantly control any plug-ins or controls on screen through their control surface's channel strip with a touch of a button.
Master Fader Press once to enable Master Fader control. Press a second time to enable V-Window mode for the 24th channel fader. Press a 3rd time to cycle back to basic channel control.
Mute While in V-Window mode, the Mute button on the last channel strip will cycle through the various V-Window Modes which are listed below:
VButton: Use this mode to interact with button controls. The mouse will stay in its place and activate a button press when the fader is touched.
VButtonSet: Use this mode to create and cycle through different button set points. With the mouse hovering above the on screen button's position press Shift+Solo on the control surface to set a Pin at that location. Using the fader in this mode will cylce between multiple Pins to use with VButton mode.
VWKnob: Use this mode when interacting with knob controls on the plug-ins GUI.
VWHSlider: Use this mode when interacting with horizontal slider controls on the plug-ins GUI.
VWVSlider: Use this mode when interacting with vertically slider controls on the plug-ins GUI.
Solo While in V-Window Mode, pressing the Solo button will pin the mouse location and revert to that location any time the fader is touched. Once the fader is released, the mouse is also returned to that pin position. This way it is very easy to pin a parameter and instantly control it without having to worry with the mouse cursor is on the screen.
Select Use the Select button while in V-Window mode to reset the fader position.
MIDI Mode
MIDI Mode converts the surfaces faders, knobs, and buttons into assignable MIDI Controls that can be mapped in the DAW.
