Faderport 8/16 - Pro Tools 2023+

V-Control Pro supercharges the Faderport 8/16 for pro features unavailable with standard HUI mode.

Select a bank mode to edit track volume, mute, solo, pan, send volume, send mute, send pre/post, send pan, and plugins.

Track Enable volume mode

Pan/Param Adjust pan for selected track
Push Toggle between Pan L and Pan R for stereo tracks

The Track Browser lets you see all tracks and jump to any track.

Select Bank to the highlighted row track

Use Locations Mode to browse, recall, and create memory locations.

Select Recall the memory location in the highlighted row
The memory location is the home location for Hot Locations
Wheel Push Push to create a new memory location
Prev Cancel new memory location
Next Confirm new memory location

Recall memory locations named to match dedicated hot buttons for custom workflows. For example, create a memory location named VCA that shows only VCA tracks. Press once to see just VCAs, press again to go back to your home view.

The home view is the most recent location selected with the Location browser.

Edit inserts A-J, using 8 Faders and Selects to adjust pages of up to 8 continuous and 8 discrete parameters. The Faderport 16 splits into an 8 track controller on the left and plugin controller on the right.

In Pro Tools you can write current automation values from any insertion point forward (or backward) to the end (or beginning) of a selection or track, or to an entire selection or track during an automation pass. You can also write trim delta values in the same way.

Automation can only be written while Pro Tools is in play or half-speed play or record. You can- not write automation while Pro Tools is stopped, fast forwarding or rewinding.
